BLUEBERRIES ARE AT THEIR BEST, CITRUS IS STILL GOING STRONG, AND CRISP APPLES ARE IN ABUNDANCE. STONE FRUIT IS ON THE HORIZON, WITH PEACHES, NECTARINES, AND PLUMS JUST AROUND THE CORNER.

GRILLED ASPARAGUS WITH LEMON AND PARMESAN
INGREDIENTS:

1 BUNCH OF FRESH ASPARAGUS, TRIMMED

2 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
-
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

1 LEMON, ZESTED AND JUICED
-
1/4 CUP GRATED ALDO'S PARMESAN CHEESE
INSTRUCTIONS:

PREHEAT YOUR GRILL OR GRILL PAN TO MEDIUM-HIGH HEAT.

TOSS THE ASPARAGUS WITH OLIVE OIL, SALT, AND PEPPER.

GRILL THE ASPARAGUS FOR ABOUT 3-5 MINUTES, TURNING OCCASIONALLY, UNTIL TENDER AND SLIGHTLY CHARRED.

REMOVE FROM THE GRILL AND DRIZZLE WITH FRESH LEMON JUICE AND SPRINKLE LEMON ZEST ON TOP.

FINISH WITH A GENEROUS SPRINKLE OF PARMESAN CHEESE.
